The Most Important Gift

The most important gift anyone can give to the church is a gift of time and talents.  We have many volunteers and many committees and offer our thanks to God for the time that our members give.  (More about church volunteer opportunities.)

Financial Giving

Gifts to us are usually tax deductible.  Please see your financial advisor for a determination of whether or not deductibility applies to you.

Gifts can be made to the church in any of several ways:

• Gifts may be brought to the church any Sunday morning and placed in the offering plate.
• Gifts may be mailed to the church or dropped off at the church any time the office is open.
• Gifts of securities may be deposited in our brokerage account at the Edward D Jones Port Washington office, either in person or by mail.
• Gifts may be designated in your will for delivery by your representative after you have moved on to the next life.
• NEW Gifts may also be made by credit card using the internet PayPal service.  If you would like to donate by credit card, click on the button here.  

  Please be aware that PayPal charges the church a 3.9% fee for handling this donation.  Also please be aware that you will receive a receipt from PayPal for this gift and that these gifts will not appear on your giving statements from the church.

• NEW Want to eliminate the hassle of writing checks?  You can have your gifts transferred automatically from your bank to the church's account.  Just download and complete our form and deliver it to Port Washington State Bank together with a voided check from your account.  They'll take care of the rest.  (Or, if you prefer, give the form and the voided check to our treasurer and he'll take care of it for you.)

Anonymous gifts are gratefully accepted, but the preparation of tax receipts will require that you identify yourself.  We hold the identities of our givers in strict confidence and do not release our lists to anyone except as required by law.

Gifts to the church can be designated for a specific purpose or left undesignated.  We carefully track designated gifts and assure that they are used only as the giver specifies.  Undesignated gifts are used for the general operation of the church:
